The CFF held a special event at Google's Mountain View headquarters to announce the launch of the Fund with its first three loans, which collectively support a vertically integrated fish-to-consumer supply chain that extends from fishermen to dockside unloader and buyer to seafood distributor.

For an overview of the evenings activities, see the event program.

For more information, see the official press release, David Festa's San Jose Mercury's Op-Ed piece and other articles on the Press page about EDF and CFF.

To view a flyer showing where you can buy Central Coast Seafood's eco-friendly products, click here (pdf file).

Watch the video below as Mark Dommen, a chef and partner at San Francisco's One Market restaurant, shows how to make a recipe for Olive Oil Poached Black Cod with Horseradish Emulsion. And then download a pdf file of the recipe and make it at home.

This event highlighted CFF’s first loans to borrowers Central Coast Seafood and Morro Bay Fish Company, who also helped supply excellent seafood prepared by Google chefs. Please see our Customers page for more information on CFF borrowers.
